Rodney G. Leffler

Mr. Leffler is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried hundreds of civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He is a former Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Fairfax County and served as a substitute judge for 18 years throughout Northern Virginia. Mr. Leffler is a former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia State Bar and was a member of the Jury Reform Task Force appointed by the Virginia Supreme Court. He is a regular speaker at continuing legal education programs and in Virginia law schools. He is an adjunct professor at George Mason University School of Law.

A member of the Bars of Virginia and Pennsylvania, Mr. Leffler is admitted to practice before the highest courts of these Commonwealths, as well as several United States District Courts and Courts of Appeals. He is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Leffler handles criminal matters, personal injury, professional liability and wrongful death cases, as well as business controversies.

Mr. Leffler is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Leffler has been called “The Man to See” in Northern Virginia by the Legal Times, has been named one of “Virginia’s Legal Elite” by Virginia Business magazine and is included in The Best Lawyers in America.

In 2007, he received the Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Award from the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia State Bar.
